Safeguarding
At Camps Hill, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child and adult has the right to feel safe, valued, and supported, both in school and beyond. Creating a secure environment is a shared responsibility, and we work closely with pupils, families, staff, and external agencies to ensure that every child can learn, grow, and thrive free from harm.
We are committed to maintaining a culture where safeguarding is everyone’s priority. This means providing quality training for staff, being vigilant, listening carefully to children, empowering them to speak up, and taking swift, appropriate action whenever concerns arise. Our policies and procedures are designed to protect pupils’ wellbeing and ensure their safety is never compromised.
Keeping children safe is not just part of our duty—it is central to who we are as a school community.
The school has five Designated Leads for Safeguarding.
